As an ode to the Japanese Umami flavor this new and exciting product is added to our family of sustainable and eco-friendly salt. Different varieties of seaweed grow around the shores of Iceland. We combine different hand harvested seaweed together to enhance the umami flavor that we absolutely love and we hope you will as well. 

Seaweed salt creates an excellent flavor combination with mushrooms, enhancing their natural umami qualities while adding oceanic depth.

Sprinkle on:

Shiitake Mushrooms - Their natural umami richness is amplified by seaweed salt's ocean minerality, creating a deeply savory experience that works beautifully in Asian-inspired dishes.

Enoki Mushrooms - These delicate, crunchy mushrooms gain wonderful complexity from seaweed salt, which complements their subtle flavor without overwhelming.

King Oyster/Trumpet Mushrooms - Their meaty texture and mild flavor absorb the oceanic notes of seaweed salt beautifully, especially when scored and grilled to create more surface area.

Maitake/Hen of the Woods - The complex, earthy notes of maitake mushrooms are enhanced by seaweed salt's briny qualities, creating a forest-meets-ocean flavor profile.

Matsutake - Their aromatic, spicy qualities pair surprisingly well with seaweed salt, which adds depth without masking their distinctive character.
